Exceptionally nice location down the hill to the center of town, very attentive staff, everything was perfect. Enjoyed staying at the well-appointed and comfortably furnished room with a nice balcony overlooking the wooded hill. We had a sumptuous breakfast with the option of eating outdoors on the deck besides a scenic waterfall and food and drinks included good coffee.

We loved how quaint and homey it was. We stayed in the MacDonald house that was built in 1777 so there was so much history that made this place even more enjoyable. Our room was wonderful; clean, with a very comfortable four poster bed. The fireplace was a nice touch as well and provided additional ambiance. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff very accommodating.

There was nothing we did not like. We would book there again.

Very very nice and incredible staff and beautiful hotel.

Central location, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from First Lenox Library. Wonderful and tasty breakfast with juice, at least a half dozen options and also yogurt for every taste.

    friendly staff
    charming hotel
    room maintenance issues
    worn upholstery
    skipped breakfast

The staff exuded warmth, and the complimentary cider was a good surprise. The hotel's charm is captivating, with a beautifully decorated interior and a lovely courtyard to unwind in. The room we were assigned had some maintenance issues, such as broken blinds and worn upholstery . While breakfast was tempting, we opted to skip it due to personal preference, leaving us with mixed feelings about our stay.

I liked that the Inn was a B&B. I would always choose them over any hotel because they are homier, food is made to order and the hosts aim to please. It was convenient to all that Lenox has to offer and close to the wedding I was attending for the whole weekend. The price was very reasonable in comparison to many of the pricier ones in the area. I enjoyed my little weekend getaway. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing and Colleen and Lance and the housekeeper went out of their way for me and my friend on Saturday when we needed an iron and ironing board last minute. :-) When the wedding couple found out where I was staying they made sure that I was one of thge 300 guests that received a special gift basket to thank me/us for attending their wedding weekend! Such a nice surprise!!

Unfortunately the Inn had gone into foreclosure four years ago. That might explain the VERY reasonable rate and the closure of the atrium bar area. Not a big deal. Its a nice place. I can see the potential for an even better Inn when and if new owners take over at some point soon. It was a beautiful place. I would definately tone down the green paint color on the walls of my room....lol. (That's just me.....my Nana, my mom and I all had green rooms in the houses we owned....I'm SO sick of green! LOL.

    nothing disappointing

The staff provided great suggestions for activities and were very helpful throughout my trip. The communal areas offered coffee and snacks in the afternoon, a nice touch after a day of exploring. The location was ideal for visiting local attractions. As a fan of art and culture, I appreciated being close to museums and theaters.

Nothing to complain about . Everything met my expectations.

    homemade brownie
    serene garden
    comfortable bed
    thin walls
    small bathroom

I enjoyed a homemade brownie paired with a delicious sangria upon arrival, a perfect touch after a long journey. The room I stayed in, the Superior Queen Room, was immaculate and had every amenity I needed. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night. The breakfast was a highlight-made to order and full of options. The outdoor garden area was serene, with the sound of the waterfall adding to the relaxing atmosphere. I did feel a bit cramped in the bathroom, as there wasn't much room for toiletries. I also noticed the walls were thin. I heard conversations from adjacent rooms. Despite a couple of minor issues, my overall experience was quite enjoyable, and I can't wait to return.
